Product description
It is quite common for this oil pressure switch to be the cause of a small oil leak. If the switch no longer works properly, you will not be warned about low oil pressure, which may result in serious engine damage.
Therefore, regularly check that the system is functioning correctly. If the warning light does not illuminate when the ignition is switched on, the switch is most likely defective and should be replaced. Once the engine is running, the warning light should go out. If it remains on, this may indicate low oil pressure. In that case, switch off the engine immediately and investigate the cause.
You can choose between two quality levels. The difference lies in the switching accuracy at the specified pressure. The B quality also provides timely warning, but may switch slightly earlier than the stated pressure value. The A quality switches more precisely, exactly at the specified pressure.
Additional information: the thread is tapered, therefore the switch does not need to be screwed in completely.
