Accessibility Statement

Paruzzi wants everyone to be able to use our webshop, including people with a visual, motor, hearing or cognitive impairment. On this page we explain how accessible paruzzi.com is, what already works well and where we are still improving.

1.Company details and applicable standard

This statement applies to the webshop of:

Company name Paruzzi B.V.
Address Kreeft 16, 4401 NZ Yerseke, Netherlands
Website www.paruzzi.com
Chamber of Commerce no. 50372092
VAT number NL8226.99.977.B01

We aim to comply with the European Accessibility Act (Directive EU 2019/882), which applies from 28 June 2025 and has been implemented in the Netherlands through the Implementation Act on accessibility requirements for products and services. As our technical standard we use the harmonised European standard EN 301 549 (V3.2.1), which incorporates the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Our webshop is built on the Shopware platform, which provides a solid accessible foundation.
This statement describes the current situation. Accessibility is an ongoing process: we assess our webshop ourselves, improve where needed and update this statement whenever there are significant changes.

2.What is accessible

The following parts of our webshop meet the requirements:
  • Clear navigation structure
The structure is consistent and can be operated entirely with the keyboard, without needing a mouse.
  • Forms with labels
All fields in the ordering process and the contact form have clear labels.
  • Clear error messages
During checkout, error messages are shown correctly and understandably.
  • Multilingual webshop
The webshop is available in nine languages. The language switch is keyboard accessible.
  • Subtitled videos
Our video tutorials are shown via YouTube with automatic subtitles on by default.

3.Known limitations

On a number of points we do not yet fully comply. Below we explain what is going on, why, and what alternative is available.
  • Alt text for product photos
Not all product photos have a descriptive alt text. Product titles and descriptions are always present, so a screen reader can still name the product. We are adding the alt texts to our product data in phases.
  • Product filters with the keyboard
The filters are technically fully reachable with the keyboard, but filter panels with hundreds of options are cumbersome in practice. As a full alternative, the search function at the top of every page is fully keyboard accessible.
  • Payment environments
Payment methods such as iDEAL and credit card are handled by external providers. The accessibility of those payment screens is outside our direct control, but we choose reputable providers that work to meet the legal requirements.
