The most common engine gasket sets are also available in a budget friendly version. These B-quality gasket sets cannot be compared to the A-quality ones. It is advisable to install the paper gaskets with liquid gasket, they are made of a cheaper material and also thinner. The rubber seals are also of lower quality, so no guaranteed seal for years (which is the case with the A-quality). Because of the inexpensive purchase, they are widely used in part overhauls, where only a few gaskets are needed (e.g., to rebuild the engine).
The crankshaft seal is not included, it is available as an extra option in a number of different qualities and designs. Click on the retaining ring for more information and to make the right choice.

Liquid gasket
Liquid gasket is an indispensable tool in the workshop. During an engine overhaul, in addition to a gasket set and a crankshaft seal, you also need this to be used, for example, between the crankcase halves. If you purchased a B-grade gasket set, you can also use it for paper gaskets. Liquid gasket is available in two types with the blue version also available in two dosages. The blue gasket can be used universally for various purposes but is not gasoline resistant. The gray gasket is intended for use between the crankcase halves. It is more gasoline resistant and once cured is less flexible. Both types are resistant to oil, transmission fluid and water. Resistant to temperatures from 50 to 200 degrees Celsius and intermittently even up to 250 degrees Celsius. See related tab.
