In classic cars, a battery has a shorter lifespan compared to daily use. Therefore, we recommend always using a trickle charger during periods of inactivity, as listed under the “Options” tab. This keeps the battery in good condition and significantly extends its lifespan.

This 12-volt battery is a modern type with a plastic outer casing. The battery is supplied without battery acid, 3 liters are required. The battery acid must be filled by an authorized company and cannot be shipped via regular postal services. Additionally, battery acid may only be sold to officially registered companies upon presentation of identification.

Battery acid should not be confused with distilled water, the latter is only used to top up the battery during use.

Important note: After filling, the battery is immediately charged to approximately 70% to 80%, but it is necessary to fully charge it first. This prevents damage such as sulfation and reduces strain on the alternator, which is not designed to charge a depleted battery. Let the battery rest for 30 to 60 minutes after filling, then charge it using a suitable 12V trickle charger.

Improper use, such as not charging after filling or long periods of inactivity without a charger, can cause irreversible damage and will void the warranty.
