The battery must be securely fastened, a loose battery will not only fail the technical inspection but can also cause a dangerous situation in case of an accident.

Over the years there have been a number of different methods used to secure the battery. From a battery cover that is pulled to the bottom with springs and clamps, a tension strap that directly holds the protective cover, to a simple clamp bracket that secures the battery to the bottom only.
