Product description
The section that holds the battery in place is welded to the battery plate at the factory. If you need to replace the battery plate, you will find that you need to transfer these battery retaining bar brackets from the battery.
You then have a brand new battery chassis plate with rusty battery retaining bars, much better to replace these bars as well.
This bracket has never been delivered separately by Volkswagen, with the advent of this perfect reproduction the problem is solved and you no longer have to transfer the old brackets.
