Product description
The piece of sheet metal of the chassis on which the battery rests is often severely affected by acid leaks or moisture accumulated underneath the battery. The other side of the chassis is generally in better condition, but again, it can be quite rusty, especially if a second battery is added, which is common in camper models.
The right side where the battery is placed has a bracket on the top where the battery is clamped and a mounting part to mount the battery bracket.
If you want to add a second battery, you can do so on the left corner of the chassis, you must order the battery holders separately, a piece of ready-to-use sheet metal for the battery on the left is not available and never produced by Volkswagen.
