Product description
This set is similar in composition to the A quality set, except that the alternator (AC) supplied is of inferior quality, which explains the big price difference.
An alternator (AC) charges the battery faster than a direct current generator (DC), which is the main reason to change.
You can't just change the DC generator, for 12 volt models you need to at least buy the correct alternator bracket and for 6 volt models you also need to buy the tension strap and back plates. This kit has the right parts to get the job done without any problems.
This kit includes a B quality alternator with built-in voltage regulator, alternator bracket, tie-down strap and a set of three backing plates.
Note: You can only transfer your existing generator pulley if your old DC generator was 105mm in diameter, if it is 90mm, please include the pulley in your order, it is listed in the options tab.
Note: By choosing this B quality kit, you agree that no warranty can be claimed in any way. On the alternative tabs, the version with an A quality alternator with a 2 year warranty is listed.
