High engine power requires a high quality exhaust system that does not hinder the accumulated power, but instead helps to increase it.
There are many exhaust systems that promise this, but few that actually do it. The Side Winder is at the top of the high-powered exhaust systems suitable for public roads, with a perfect fit and made of high quality stainless steel.
The pipe lengths are perfectly matched and the polished muffler has a pyramid shape inside for optimal flow and maximum exhaust velocity.
The muffler is suspended from the exhaust pipe of the first cylinder. Most other systems have a mounting bracket welded to the thin sheet metal of the muffler, which will eventually come off. The Side winder is suspended from a galvanized bracket, so there is no problem.
The diameter of the tube is 42 mm. To get the maximum power from the Side Winder, the heat exchangers can no longer be mounted.
The sound is deep and muffled, as the sound of a muffler should be, and therefore meets the legal standards that apply to our cars.
No carburetor pre-heating is provided, the Side Winder is designed for engines with side-mounted carburetors that do not get pre-heating from the exhaust system.
Comes with mounting hardware and gaskets, please take the narrow size exhaust nuts as an extra, they are not included (listed in the options tab).
