This T-adapter allows you to fit an oil pressure or temperature sensor in place of the oil pressure switch, without overriding it.
Although this location is ideal for measuring oil pressure, we do not recommend measuring oil temperature here. Tests show that the reading at this point may differ from the actual temperature by 10 to 15 degrees. For more accurate oil temperature measurement, use a special dipstick for Type 1 engines and, for Type 4, CT/CZ and WBX engines, an adapter located behind the oil pressure cap. You'll find these alternatives on the tab of the same name.
Installation tip: as an installation tip, we recommend using Teflon tape for the thread. This also allows you to determine the position of the adapter after installation, if necessary.
