Injection engines are equipped with a high-pressure electric fuel pump. It is therefore not possible to fit just any fuel pump, it must meet the specifications of the injection system.
Volkswagen tries to create as much unity as possible, which is why the fuel pump mentioned here can be used for most injection engines.
For those who want to use this fuel pump for another purpose (for example, for Turbo engines or for injection engines of another type or brand), we can report that this gasoline pump delivers a pressure of 4 bar with a yield of 130 liters per hour, the input connection is 12 mm and the output connection 8 mm.
The fuel pump can be mounted anywhere, but it is advisable to hang it lower than the fuel tank.
Only suitable for 12 volts.
For alternative use, it is advisable to install a safety relay so that the fuel pump is stopped in the event of engine failure.
