Product description
The piece of floorpan in the engine compartment where the battery is located is often severely damaged by leaking battery acid or moisture accumulated under the battery.
This replacement battery tray is the same as the original, including the edge where the engine rubber is inserted. If your Volkswagen is post-1971, you must transfer the battery retaining bar brackets from your old chassis plate, these are not included.
We know from experience that in most cases this is not the best solution, that's why these battery retaining bar brackets are also available separately, they are listed in the Options tab.
