Product description
By using zinc spray, the bare steel is protected from corrosion, but if you then want to weld the sheet metal part, you have to remove the zinc first. If you weld through the zinc spray, you will have problems with spatter, you will not get the nice weld you had in mind.
With this 1-K acrylic welding primer, this is possible, it offers very reliable corrosion protection and contact improves when spot welding and shielded gas welding. The color is similar to that of stainless steel and can be treated with most 1K and 2K paints, if required.
Surfaces to be treated must be dry, clean and free of grease with a minimum ambient temperature of 15°C. Shake vigorously for at least 2 minutes before use and apply evenly at a distance of about 30 cm. Before welding, wait until the solvent has evaporated. The evaporation time depends on the ambient temperature and the thickness of the layer!
