Product description
When you build an engine with more power, you can consider 4 additional dowel pins in the crankshaft, this ensures an better lock for the crankshaft. This tool is a must to ensure straight dowell pin holes.
With this drilling template the 4 additional dowel holes can be drilled exactly right in the crankshaft and the flywheel. Without this drilling template it is not advisable to mount the extra dowel pins because this is very accurate.
The drilling template is suitable for both symmetrical and asymmetrical drilling of the holes.
It is advised to drill the holes asymmetrically so that the flywheel only fits in one way on the crankshaft, which is important when the whole driveline is balanced.
Pay attention! All offered crankshafts and flywheels with 8 holes are drilled asymmetrically.
