Product description
The VW Thing was always delivered with bumpers painted the same way: in the military version, in green, and in the civilian version, with a black coating.
Most vehicles were used for what they were designed for, i.e. heavier off-road work, where they were generally not handled too carefully. Bumpers had to be functional, and scratches or dents were simply part of the usage. As a result, finding an intact original bumper today is a real challenge.
Fortunately, this is no longer a problem: these new bumpers are an exact reproduction of the original, restoring your VW Thing to its original appearance.
They are powder-coated black as standard and can be fitted immediately.
