Product description
Only the luxury, passenger-carrying models, or models that were equipped as a motor home had factory chrome bumpers, all other models were painted black or white. If you own a Volkswagen Bus with painted bumpers and want to create a luxurious look, you may want to consider replacing your existing bumpers with these chrome bumpers. But we would like to point out that the quality of the chrome is not the same as the mounts of the past. You will need to maintain the chrome immediately after purchase, so there is no warranty on the chrome coating.
If you want a maintenance free chrome bumper that will never rust again, they are also available in polished stainless steel for the Volkswagen Bay Window Bus for models up to July 1972.
