Most of the Buses were delivered ex works with coloured bumpers, only the most luxurious versions had chrome bumpers. The big disadvantage of chromium is its resistance to bad weather, you have to maintain it, but on the other hand it is a beautiful finish for your Bus.
One would think that a new chrome bumper will not rust in the coming years, but unfortunately the reality is different, it will also be necessary to maintain this new chrome bumper. If you want to be sure that in 10 years from now your bumpers will look exactly like the ones you have installed today without too much maintenance, then choose these stainless steel bumpers.
The bumper mentioned here is made of high gloss stainless steel and polished. If you prefer to paint them in the colour of your vehicle, of course it is possible. We advise you to sand them, after which you can apply the same painting treatments as the bodywork. Whatever you do, rust will become a thing of the past. In addition, your Volkswagen Bus will increase in value.
