Product description
This engine tin is located behind the crankshaft pulley. The pulley must therefore be removed first for removal and installation.
The rear engine tin connects to this panel and together they seal the engine compartment from the hot air underneath the engine. With an air-cooled engine, it is important to keep this heat out of the engine compartment as much as possible, so that the cooling fan can draw in the coolest possible air.
The rear engine tins are only available for a limited number of engines and production years. By combining the engine tin listed here with one of the rear engine tins mentioned under Note, you obtain the correct combination for later 1300cc, 1500cc and 1600cc engines.
Attention: With this combination there is no opening for the air cleaner hose. If you want to use this combination on an engine that is normally equipped with this hose, fitting a sports air cleaner provides a solution.
