Product description
A faulty horn is a reason for rejection during the annual car inspection, it is an essential part that must work well and loudly.
Find out where the problem is by putting a direct power supply on the horn. If the horn gives a strong signal, the problem is in the wiring or the horn pushon button. If the signal is too weak, you can try adjusting it from below, if there is an adjustment. This setting controls the tone unit of the signal, the signal should sound at one pitch, so you should adjust it if there is any noise. If this is not possible, you will have to replace it.
The 12 volt horn is available in two qualities, quality A is much better and therefore has a longer life and is also more reliable.
If your classic Volkswagen has two horns, they have different tones. The horns mentioned here produce a low-pitched sound. If you mount two of the same horns, you will not get the same sound as the original. Legally, one horn is sufficient.
