Product description
You might think that wear on the top is the most common reason for replacing a horn button, but nothing could be further from the truth. The main reason for replacement is damage to the edges, usually caused by incorrect removal.
Do not use a screwdriver to pry off the horn button. Use a plastic trim tool instead and pay close attention to where you position it.
The rear of the horn button is shown so you can see where the tool is best inserted. This is often difficult to see from above. Carefully lift the horn button slightly so you can look underneath and position the tool in the correct place. This allows you to remove the horn button without damaging it.
