Product description
The drive shaft is used to transmit power from the engine to the wheels via the gearbox and differential.
The permissible clearance between the sliding blocks (fulcrum plates) and the drive shaft is 0.035 to 0.244 mm. If the clearance is larger, the fulcrum plates and drive shafts may wear out. In the worst case, the drive shaft is so worn that replacement is the only option, in which case also replace the fulcrum plates at the same time.
Even if the drive shaft grooves are worn, which occurs mainly when the rear axle nut is not tightened to the correct torque, resulting in play, there is only one possible solution: replacing the shaft.
