These washers are located between the bearing cover and the side cover of the gearbox and are not included in the gasket kit 1415, always take them extra, reusing the old washers is asking for leakage.
Applicable on every commuter shaft gearbox of all air-cooled Volkswagens
* swing axles (trumpets or swing axle) can be recognized by 1 drive sleeve mounted on the gearbox side and for intermediate shafts (IRS or cardans) they are separate shafts (with homokinets) with drive sleeves on both sides.
