Product description
If an additional oil cooler is installed, it is advisable to install this oil thermostat between the oil pipes. This thermostat ensures that the engine heats up properly.
Below 78 degrees Celsius, the oil returns to the engine, but also a small portion to the oil cooler to warm it up. When the oil has reached a temperature of about 78 degrees, it is only transferred to the external oil cooler.
