If your oil temperature gets too high (90 degrees is the best, it may rise to a maximum of 130 degrees in the peaks), then it is time to lower it. This oil cooler is best placed between the gearbox and the body or under the gearbox. It is advisable to install an additional oil thermostat (between the hoses) for proper temperature control (#1870).
This oil cooler kit comes complete, with cooler, aluminum connection adapter (#1820), oil filter bracket (#1825) (for the separate filter see #1826), oil pressure increase kit (#1816), all mounting material and fittings and oil hose with hose clamps (you will need extra oil hose though, the length supplied is limited).
Two sizes are available : with 6 cooling channels or the larger type with 8 cooling channels.
The dimensions listed are the outside dimensions of the oil cooler (L x W x H).
