Product description
This sealing ring is intended for the oil filler caps of both the straight oil filler and the 45-degree model. Without this sealing ring, the oil filler cap can loosen more easily due to vibrations. It also provides a proper seal and prevents any splashing oil from escaping past the cap, although this is unlikely to be an issue in practice.
Note: The original flat rubber or cork seals used on the cap of the 45-degree model, the red straight oil filler and the oil filler for the Porsche 911 cooling fan mounting kit are considerably larger, but can be replaced without any problem by the sealing ring listed here.
