Product description
If you travel a lot of kilometers a year, or if you always travel long distances, the contents of the original fuel tank are not very large. A fuel tank with an additional 47.3 liters capacity is now available, which will considerably increase the range. Delivered without the connection at the bottom, use your old connection or upgrade to a new one (see the options tab). If you own a VW 1200, VW 1300 or VW 1500 Beetle from 8/1967 onwards, you can also fit this fuel tank, but it is necessary to fill up under the hood of the front boot instead of through the original petrol filling point, you also cannot take the spare wheel with you. This fuel tank can be used not only on a Volkswagen Beetle or a Karmann Ghia, but also for many other creations such as Baja or Kit-Cars.
Look out! This fuel tank uses a fuel cap with an inner cap, whereas in those years Volkswagen used a fuel cap with an outer cap. Check which fuel cap you have and, if necessary, order the correct cap immediately (see the "Options" tab).
