Product description
Larger carburetors also require a thicker fuel hose with an inner diameter of at least 8 mm, but the fuel supply to the tank, which is originally 6 mm, is often not taken into account. If the tank outlet remains at 6 mm, you block the supply and you cannot take full advantage of the benefits of your larger carburetors.
This fitting is designed for 8 mm hoses and fits the existing mounting nut, but it is nevertheless advisable to order a standard fuel tank connector (see options tab).
Do not install a tank strainer as this will obstruct the flow too much, but fit an 8 mm fuel filter between the hoses (see related parts tab).
