Product description
Clean the fuel filter inside the tank at each maintenance to ensure that the fuel supply is not interrupted. If it turns out that the filter has become too dirty, you will need to replace it (see the Replacement Parts tab).
Although this is part of normal maintenance, in practice, it does not happen often and the entire fuel system seems very neglected. A brand new connection will give you a new start, and you will be able to do the correct maintenance as prescribed by Volkswagen from then on.
The kit is delivered with filter and sealing ring (between nut and fitting), take an additional filter immediately, if it turns out that at the next maintenance the filter must be replaced, it will already be in stock in your workshop.
Note: The connection is for the standard 5.5 or 6 mm fuel hose, if your engine is equipped with larger carburetors, it is good to take this into account now by choosing the 8 mm connection (see the options tab)
