The distributor is immediately visible when the engine lid is opened, so a transparent distributor cap also significantly improves the look of the engine.
Because these caps are transparent, you can easily see the spark of the ignition, which gives a nice effect.
Like the standard bakelite caps, it is important that you also replace the rotor due to the wear of these two parts on top of each other.
It often happens that over the years, the original distributor has been replaced by a model that does not belong to this engine, so the information given about the application is no longer accurate. In addition, in the specified years of construction, several types of caps have been used that cannot be replaced by the one mentioned here. It is therefore advisable to use our online tool for the distributor/ignition in the blue area under the image or under the "Technical data" tab. Attention! These transparent caps are made of colored plastic, with the disadvantage of not being resistant to gasoline, a drop of gasoline is enough to make them tear.
