Product description
On Volkswagen Type 1 engines, with the exception of the first 1300 cc and the first Type 3 engines, this connector is used to attach the accelerator cable to the accelerator lever or linkage of the original carburetor.
This connector is also used to mount the rod of the cooling control valve on the thermostat lever of the latest generation VW Type 3 motors.
For those with more efficient carburetors (not original VW), this part can in most cases be used to attach the accelerator cable to the accelerator linkage.
