Jos vanhat venttiilikannet ovat vääntyneet tai pahasti ruostuneet, uusia venttiilikansia on saatavana. Ne toimitetaan mustalla maalilla, ja ne voidaan asentaa välittömästi. Joihinkin moottoreihin voit tilata myös täysin kromatun version.
Huomaa: Kromattujen mallien kohdalla on karhennettava tiivisteen reunaa, sillä kromin pehmeys voi aiheuttaa tiivisteen liukumisen kokoonpanon aikana, mikä voi aiheuttaa vuotoja.
