Venttiilinohjaimet kuluvat, jos venttiilien ja venttiilinohjainten välillä on liikaa pelivaraa. Tämä johtaa liialliseen öljynkulutukseen ja voi jopa aiheuttaa venttiilin rikkoutumisen. Venttiilinohjainten vaihtaminen on ainoa ratkaisu.
Uudet venttiilinohjaimet on puristettava sylinterinkanteen ja tarvittaessa taitettava oikean kokoisiksi. Venttiilinohjaimia on saatavana sekä imu- että pakosarjaan ja eri kokoisina.
Huomautus: Moottorin tiedot ovat alkuperäiset. Joissakin tapauksissa useita kokoja on mahdollista käyttää, mitat ovat ylhäällä. Tarkista mitat ennen tilausta.

B: Pronssiseos, jolla on korkea kulumiskestävyys, hyvä väsymis- ja korroosionkestävyys, sopii sovelluksiin, joissa on keskisuuria rasituksia.
SB: Piipronssi, joka tarjoaa suuremman lujuuden yhdistettynä piin itsevoiteluun, joka takaa erinomaiset laakerointi- ja kuormankanto-ominaisuudet.
G: Harmaa helmiäismatriisivalurauta, jolle on ominaista hyvä kulumiskestävyys, soveltuu sovelluksiin, joissa on normaali rasitustaso.
