Product description
If your Type 3's wiring is beyond repair, you can replace it completely. The wiring harness shown here is a reproduction of the original, using the original Volkswagen color codes.
In addition to the downloadable wiring diagram (see Documentation tab), we recommend that you also consult the Volkswagen workshop manual, referenced in the Options tab.
Note: this harness is supplied without the wiring for the steering column, wiper motor, side marker lights, hazard lights, choke and, for cars with fuel-injected engines, the corresponding injection wiring.
Important: this wiring harness has been designed for models exported to the USA and Canada. When installed in a European Type 3, adjustments are required in certain areas, such as the lighting and blinker system.
