Product description
To reach the carburetor, the throttle cable must pass through the front of the engine and the fan shroud. On older engines, this tube is equipped with a spring system that ensures the retraction of the throttle lever. This was later simplified by mounting a retraction spring directly on the carburetor. The feedthrough tube is often bent or heavily rusted, which can damage and break the throttle cable. In addition, the spring system of older engines is often so rusty that the throttle cable is no longer pulled in the right direction. Throttle cable conduit for older engines is supplied as a complete kit. The clamp that holds the throttle cable is also available separately. The mounting tube, which secures the cable to the throttle valve, is not included in the delivery. If necessary, add it (see "Options" tab).
