Product description
This fairly thick cable connects the alternator to the battery and should be replaced if it has oxidized or if the outer sheath has been damaged, exposing the copper.
If you wish to replace the entire wiring harness, and not just the cable shown here for connection B, take all the spare parts shown in addition, and you'll have a complete replacement wiring harness, as prescribed by Volkswagen.
The cable shown here between the battery and alternator socket B, and all the spare parts shown, are identical to the original.
