This specific Volkswagen connector plug was first used with the Volkswagen Golf, and later with many VW models, such as the Mexican-made Beetle and the Volkswagen Vanagon.
This plug has been used in many applications to connect two cables that fit together in only one way, making it impossible to connect them incorrectly.
This plug is identical to the original, so you can use it for applications where only one part needs to be replaced. What's more, it's ideal for connecting two cables together as part of a repair, or for creating your own wiring harness.
