Product description
The toothed pulley mounted directly on the crankshaft drives the timing belt. A worn gear is fatal to your timing belt, which in turn drives the camshaft.
I don't need to tell you the consequences of a broken timing belt, which must be replaced in accordance with the maintenance schedule, regardless of its apparent condition. Always order the belt with the sprocket - the belt is listed in the "options" tab.
This pulley is supplied with a 12-sided mounting bolt, which is an improvement on the original hexagonal bolt. Diesel engines of the latest series (from 8.1987) are factory-fitted with this.
