The window seal on the outside of the convertible from model year 1965 onwards was only available with a molding at the time.
If only the rubber has dried out, you'll have to buy a complete seal, even though the molding is not defective. With the replacement rubbers listed here, it's possible to keep your molding and replace only the rubber.
To do this, drill out the rivets and fit the new rubber against the molding in the same way, and your window rubber will close against the window as if nothing had happened.
