Product description
Until 7/1972, the Volkswagen Beetle was equipped with a frame that was welded to the chassis and on which the seat was slid, the seat resting entirely on this frame. From the model year 1973 onwards, it was adapted to an elevation in the middle of the base plate with guides on both sides. In this way, the seat is guided at three points instead of two as before.
For the latter types of Volkswagen Beetle, only the mounts are available separately, the racks are only available in combination with a half floorpan or a complete floorpan (mentioned on the related parts tab).
Until 7/1970 the seat assembly is characterized by an L-profile on which the seat is slid and from 8.1970 to 7.1972 it is a T-profile. They are supplied in three parts and are the same for left and right.
Note: For cars between the years 8.1972 and 11.1980, you can use the seat frame for the years from 11.1980 onwards without any structural modifications. The only thing that deviates from this rule is the plastic seat guide, please add it (indicated in the Options tab).
