Product description
This magnetic oil drain plug removes metal particles that are carried along with the oil before it is pumped further into your engine and can cause serious damage.
This bolt is for protection, if you find metal on this bolt it is a warning and you should look for where it comes from, in a healthy engine this does not happen. It is an inexpensive protection, with which you can avoid a lot of misery. It's a pity that Volkswagen only rarely applied it in the fifties and never continued to apply it.
If your engine is not equipped with a sumplate with drain hole, take a look at the options tab and order it immediately.
