If the heater channel has lost its strength due to rust, the jack support will bend more quickly. We have two solutions to this problem. One is mainly for restoration, the other for repair:
Separate jack support: If you're restoring your vehicle, or if you want to carry out the repair so that it's invisible afterwards, a separate jack support is available which is identical to the original.
Chassis-reinforced jack stand: for repair purposes only. This jack stand features a section of edge plate to cover any cracked or rusted bottom plate. This plating immediately adds strength to the jack stand (which is often necessary during repairs). In many cases, not only is the jack support deformed, but the underside of the tubular beam and the part of the bottom to which the support is welded are no longer in good condition. Plating the edges of the jack support makes it stronger than before.
Reinforced jack support: this is a stronger variant of the original jack support, originally used by Volkswagen in the production of the Brazilian Beetle from 1971. Curiously, it was only used in Brazil, even though it represented a great improvement in terms of strength.
