Product description
Every Volkswagen comes with a set of tools and a jack from the factory. The jack is the most important tool, how could you change a wheel if the jack is missing? This factory jack is a temporary solution for emergencies only. If you are going to work on the car at home, you will use a garage jack, the factory jack is quite unstable and therefore not safe enough to use for a long time.
With this lifting plate, you turn the original lifting point into a solid unit under which you can easily place a garage jack or a jack and, in addition, the chassis will not be damaged, which is the case when you use another place for lifting.
When the job is done, remove the jack plate from the lifting point and store it with the other tools that are still in your car. This way, the jack plate is always within reach.
