If you own a Beetle, Karmann Ghia or Bus with a fuel tap (#486), you will have to regularly clean or even replace the fuel filter in the tank (#4484) or the filter housing (#4485). It is important that when installing the cleaned or new strainer, the whole assembly is reinstalled fluid-tight, here it is necessary to install a new gasket ring.
