If you own a Beetle, Karmann Ghia or Bus with a fuel tap (486), you will have to regularly clean or even replace the fuel filter in the tank (4484) or the filter housing (4485). It is important that when installing the cleaned or new strainer, the whole assembly is reinstalled fluid-tight, here it is necessary to install a new gasket ring.
