Product description
If the cooling air escapes, it has two disadvantages: the escaping cooling air can no longer be used to cool the engine and the engine compartment is flooded with hot air, which is then sucked in again for cooling. To prevent this, each opening is sealed with rubbers or cooling plates.
The sealing frame mentioned here is the most forgotten part of the cooling system, so it is missing on many engines. Make sure that no cooling air is lost and mount this sealing frame around your oil cooler as it was applied in the factory.
