Product description
This lever is located at the beginning of the gearbox and connects the shift rod, which comes from the chassis tunnel, to the gearbox. Because of its particular shape, this lever is more commonly known as a "hockey stick".
When worn, this lever creates excessive play between gears. In the event of a rapid gear change or handling error, the lever pulls out of the driveshaft, making gear changes impossible. A second, even more common problem is a deformed field hockey stick, which can only occur if the gearbox has fallen on its nose or suffered a violent impact.
In addition to the version identical to the original, there is also a reinforced version. This reinforced version is not only intended for cars found on circuits or rough terrain, it is also recommended for weekend enthusiasts who make the occasional jaunt. In this case, the chances of problems with your gearshift are virtually nil, and if you're having a service, it's a small effort to replace it at the same time.
Gear levers other than those mentioned here can be found in the "alternatives" tab.
