Product description
Our Volkswagens are getting older and older, and a worn or damaged transmission nose is a regular occurrence. In addition, the Volkswagen Beetle and Karmann Ghia gearbox housing replacement is often used to install a newer gearbox in an older car without the need for adapters.
This gearshift housing has a provision for a reverse switch, if your Volkswagen is not equipped with one, make sure the hole is sealed with a blind plug or screw in an old or new reverse switch, which you do not connect.
This housing comes with an assembled bushing, retaining ring and guide sleeve for the gear rod, i.e. ready to be mounted. Please note the additional note that applies to certain years of manufacture.
