Torn driveshaft boots not only result in rejection during the annual inspection, but also in loss of transmission oil. Transmission oil lubricates the gearbox and rear wheel bearings and is crucial to the operation of your VW.
The axle boots, which have been assembled at the factory, consist of a single piece. Shafts must be removed for replacement. With these divisible boots you save a lot of time during assembly, you cut the old boot and mount the divisible boot with the seam horizontally backwards to avoid leaks, it is also advisable to use a liquid seal (see options tab) between the seam.
