Product description
With this square bolt, the gear shift rod coupling is fixed to the output rod and for the old VW Beetle and VW Bus, this bolt is also used to fix the gear shift axes in the gearbox.
Originally, this bolt was fixed with a locking thread until 1975, after which VW used a liquid locking thread.
Use one for connecting rod connections such as #21406.
Two are required for connecting rod connections such as #1405.
Use one for connecting rod connections such as #01406 or #03806.
If you use a fork in the gearbox, three are required.
