Product description
All VW models with mechanical clutch are equipped with a clutch cable guide, often referred to as "outer cable".
This cable guide is located on the one hand in the chassis and on the other hand in the bracket that is fixed on the gearbox.
The cable must have some deflection, which can be adjusted by placing adjusting rings between the end of the outer cable and the gearbox bracket. You will find the correct deflection in your workshop manual.
